2023 ALIBI AWARDS FINALIST

EXCITING NEWS...Mindful Life Wellness' Director and Lead Therapist-Maryanne was recently announced as a Finalist for the 2023 Australian Ladies in Business Initiative (ALIBI) Awards


Mindful Life Wellness has been selected as a Finalist in the category of "Enduring Brilliance". This award category celebrates the longevity of a female lead business that has shown community involvement, support to others in business, and the ability to adapt and innovate throughout the years. This category recognises a business that has sustained their success and continued to make an impact in their industry and community. Nominees for this award must have been running a businesses with 10 or more years of operation as of June 2023. They must demonstrate a commitment to community involvement and support to other businesses. And be a business that has adapted and innovated to maintain their success over the years.


Maryanne-Owner of Mindful Life Wellness was selected as a finalist in this category as she has been running a successful private practice in the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne for just over 12 years. During that time Maryanne has assisted 100s of adults and children with their mental health and well-being via affordable and accessible 1:1 therapy and group programs. More recently she has added a Therapy Dog to her tool box, along with a children's podcast and an online learning platform. Maryanne is super excited to be recognised for her hard work, determination and all that her business has achieved.


In its second year, the ALIBI Awards are continuing to celebrate more Australian Business Ladies than ever before. Following a successful inaugural event, this year's nominations have surged by 45%, drawing entries from all corners of Australia. These awards shine a spotlight on exceptional women across the country – from coastlines to the outback – who persistently overcome challenges. Through fires, floods, and a global pandemic, these women press on, achieving their goals and shattering barriers.


“These awards are here to support these outstanding women and let them know that we see them, they’re not alone, and they’re doing an incredible job”, said Kylie King, Founder of the ALIBI. “It’s been a tough few years and many businesses didn’t survive. We want to reassure our community members that we will continue to be here to support them and celebrate their perseverance and resilience along the way.”

ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN LADIES IN BUSINESS INITIATIVE

Australian Ladies in Business Initiative (ALIBI), founded by Kylie King in 2020, is a community for Australian women from all backgrounds, experiences, qualifications and knowledge can come together to educate, empower, and motivate each other to reach success in their business. It continues to assist women in business to strive towards what success means to them, by providing community support, courses, and exclusive products and resources.


Winners of each category will be announced at the ALIBI Awards night in Sydney on Friday 27th October at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
